A2P 10DLC opt-in evidence
SMS opt-in policy proof
This page documents the two consent paths Walkthrough Labs uses before sending SMS invitations and operational account messages. It is public so carrier and Twilio reviewers can inspect the consent language without logging in.
Admin-confirmed staff invitation
Authorized customer administrators may invite staff members by phone after confirming the recipient agreed to receive a Walkthrough Labs invite text. This path is used for workplace onboarding where the organization already has a direct relationship with the staff member. SMS consent is optional; staff can still complete account creation, registration, and service access without SMS.
Workflow shown to the administrator
- The administrator opens Organization role management and selects Invite user.
- The administrator selects Phone as the invite method.
- The administrator enters the recipient phone number and display name.
- The administrator confirms the recipient agreed to receive a Walkthrough Labs SMS invitation.
- If the recipient has not agreed to SMS, the administrator can invite them through non-SMS channels instead.
- Walkthrough sends one invitation text only after SMS consent is confirmed.
Example message
User self opt-in
A user may also submit their own phone number through the public SMS consent form. The form makes SMS consent optional and separate from account access, and links directly to the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
Workflow shown to the user
- The user visits the public SMS consent page.
- The user enters their name, organization, and phone number.
- The user may check the optional SMS consent checkbox after reading the disclosures.
- The user can submit the form without checking the SMS box and still complete account creation, registration, and service access without SMS.
- If the user checks the optional box, the form sends a consent request to Walkthrough Labs for review.
- Walkthrough only sends SMS invitations and operational account messages related to access.
